This article outlines the process of adding security tags to specific pages within your app's control panel. This feature allows you to restrict access to certain pages to specific user groups.
Prerequisites: Before you can assign a security tag to a page, you must first ensure the tag has been created in the user tagging section of the control panel.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Create a Security Tag
If the security tag you wish to use doesn't already exist, you will need to create it.
-
Navigate to the "Users" section in the left-hand side menu.
-
Select "User Tagging."
-
Click "Create New Tag" and enter the desired name for your tag (e.g., "RR client").
-
Press "Save."
2. Navigate to the Target Page's Security Settings
-
Go to the specific page within your app that you want to apply the security tag to.
-
In the top menu of the feature, select "Security."
3. Configure Security Settings
-
Enable "Require Login."
-
Enable "Require Tags."
-
In the "Add Tags" section, enter the name of the security tag you want to grant access to this page (e.g., "RR client secure").
-
It is crucial to also add the "Approved" tag. This tag is a one-time application that grants the user initial access to tagged content.
-
Ensure the setting "Users match any tags" is selected.
-
Verify that "Must be applied" is set to "one time."
4. Add the Tags
-
Click the "Add Tags" button to apply the security settings to the page.
Once these steps are completed, only users who have been granted the specified security tag by an administrator will be able to access this page.
