How to Ban a User

This guide outlines the process for banning a user from the app. To begin, you will need the user's name, email, or account ID. Using their email address is the most reliable method for locating them.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Navigate to User Management:

    • From your app's control panel, locate and click on Users in the menu on the left-hand side.

    • A second sidebar will appear. In this sidebar, select User Management.

  2. Search for the User:

    • Use the search bar to find the user you wish to ban. Enter their name or email address. Using their email is recommended for the most accurate results.

  3. Change the User's Status:

    • The user's profile will appear in the search results, showing their name, email, join date, and last access time.

    • Locate the Status column and click on the user's current status (it will likely show as "Active").

    • This will reveal two options: "Active" and "Banned".

    • Select Banned.

  4. Save Your Changes:

    • Click the Save button to apply the change.

The user is now banned. This action takes effect immediately and does not require you to publish the app again.
