This guide explains how to manage access to specific features within your app by setting required security tags. This ensures that only users with the appropriate permissions can view certain sections.
Step 1: Navigate to the Feature
First, open your app's control panel. From there, locate and click on the feature for which you want to adjust the security settings.
Step 2: Open Security Settings
Once you have selected the feature, look to the right of the emulator screen. At the top, you will see a small shield icon with a checkmark inside it. Click on this "Security" icon to open the access settings.
Step 3: Enable Login Requirement
In the security settings menu, you will see several options.
-
Find the toggle for "Require Login." You must enable this option first to manage access with tags.
-
After enabling "Require Login," a new option, "Require Tags," will become available. Toggle this on as well.
Step 4: Add and Configure Security Tags
With "Require Tags" enabled, you can now specify which tags a user must have to access the feature.
-
Under the "Tag Title" section, begin typing the name of the tag you want to require (for example, "client-secure").
-
In the line below, specify how many times a user needs to have that tag. Typically, this value is set to one.
By completing these steps, you have successfully restricted access to the feature. Only users who are logged in and have been assigned the "client-secure" tag will be able to view it.
