This guide will walk you through the process of changing any feature icon or image directly within the app's control panel.
Step-by-Step Guide to Changing a Feature's Image
-
Access the App Builder: Begin by navigating to your control panel. On the left-hand side, locate and click on the builder icon, which is represented by a pencil. This action will display a comprehensive list of all the features currently in your app.
-
Locate the Feature: In the builder, search for the specific feature for which you wish to change the icon or image. The feature will appear at the top of the search results.
-
Open the Media Library: To the left of the feature's title, you will see its current icon or image. Click on this image to open a "Add Media" pop-up window, which presents several options for selecting a new image.
Image and Icon Options
You have several sources to choose from for your new feature image:
-
Glyphicons: These are a collection of stock icons that are simple and look great within the app.
-
My Images: This tab allows you to select from images you have previously uploaded. You can also use the "Upload Image" button to add a new image from your device.
-
Stock Images: Browse through a wide variety of stock images by using the search function to find one that suits your needs.
-
AI Image: Utilize the AI image generator by selecting a style and letting the system create an image for you.
Once you have chosen your desired image, simply click on it, and the feature's icon will be updated automatically.
Important Note for Features Within Folders
It is important to be aware that for features that contain other features, such as folders or outline action folders, the image displayed may have a layer on top of it. To update the image of a feature inside one of these containers, you must first navigate into the folder, locate the specific feature, and then update its image from there.
